To ensure that water is available to the hospital should we experience a major Cascadia Subduction Zone (CSZ) seismic event, the Pacific Communities Health District has submitted an application for a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant.
In 2022, the Pacific Communities Health District contributed $60,000 to support the nursing program at Oregon Coast Community College. To date, the college has graduated 200 nurses and many of them are working in Lincoln County health care facilities and clinics.
