Thanks to new partnerships and expanded laboratory capabilities within Samaritan Health Services (SHS), COVID-19 test results are now being returned on average 24 to 48 hours from the time of the test. Previously, results were returned in 7 to 9 days. Quicker test turnaround times will improve our ability to care for patients and help flatten the curve within our communities.

Improving the turnaround times of testing is just one way that we are preparing to care for patients with COVID-19.
